Jackson Hole real estate activity:
- NEW: Ponderosa Village 2-bed condo in West Jackson, list $265,000.
- NEW: Rafter J 3-bed home built in 1990 on .28 acres but completely upgraded in the last six months, list $799,000.
- NEW: Wilson “bungalow” near downton with 3 beds, 2,300+ square feet, 2-car garage, list $1.3 million.
- NEW: Town of Jackson contemporary 3-bed home in Daisy Bush subdivision built in 2011, list $1.395 million.
- PENDING: Creekside 4-bed condo with 2,000+ square feet after 77 days on market, list $750,000.
- PRICE REDUCED: Melody Ranch 3-bed, 1,952-square-foot home on market for 104 days, was $905,000 now $865,000.
- News&Guide report on real estate market mirrors much of what I’m seeing in my personal business, in particular that Teton Village values have rebounded the most since the heights of 2006-07 and that single-family homes are the hottest segment.

- The foremost pontificator on the $646 billion “outdoors” market is Drew Simmons, former Jackson Hole writer now running outdoor PR firm Pale Morning Media, and here he goes again with insights on plaid. And active brands. And outdoor culture. You know, us.
- The magnitude of the achievements of the Iron Cowboy (aka father of five Utah resident James Lawrence) is just starting to sink in. Fifty Ironman-length triathlons in 50 days in 50 different states. Damn.
- A list of the top 10 selling Wyoming authors, with my ever-entertaining and fascinating Facebook friend Cat Urbigkit.
- The United States, if they each were a person, and in a bar. Long scroll for Wyoming, but it’s pretty entertaining. For example, my home state: “Pennsylvania is a cheery, pretty brunette girl with blue eyes, dressed fairly preppy. She’s drinking Yuengling and making out with a handful of other states.”
