The twin stars of the Jackson Hole solar system are Teton Village and Town of Jackson.
Teton Village shines more brightly in the winter, drawing visitors from around the world to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, North America’s premier ski destination. Town of Jackson is more vibrant in summer with the buzz of millions of visitors drawn by Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks and the long list of outdoor activities such as fishing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, golfing and hunting.
These two areas also offer the greatest range of real estate ownership options including fractional ownership, condo-tel properties (full-ownership condos that operate within a hotel structure), condominiums, townhouses and single-family homes. Almost all properties in Teton Village can be rented on a nightly basis, while Town of Jackson also offers many options within a short-term rental overlay. Smaller short-term rental nodes include Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis, Spring Creek Ranch and The Aspens.
Jackson Hole also includes the small towns of Kelly, Wilson, Moran and Hoback Junction, but outside of town and the village real estate options include mostly single-family homes on larger lots. Premier neighborhoods include Bar BC Ranch, Granite Ridge, Teton Pines, Willowbrook, Crescent H, Solitude, Owl Creek and others.
But the real heart of Jackson Hole beats loudest in the county and surrounding forests, national parks and other vast swaths of public land, where the sounds of civilization are left far behind.
