Strong statewide November numbers

The Casper Star-Tribune has a nice story out today on the November sales numbers for the state of Wyoming. It provides a snapshot of the state’s variable real estate sales climates, from struggling Sweetwater County to steady and strong Cheyenne.

Teton County also gets a good look, with a few quotes from our own Brett McPeak, president of the Teton Board of Realtors. McPeak and the story follow up on much of what I covered yesterday, pointing out that while our market has stabilized, the sales volume and number of units sold is still well below the levels set earlier this decade.

“Even if there were two Realtors on every transaction, that means only 40 out of 650 got a paycheck last month,” he said, referring to the approximate number of licensed Realtors in Teton County.
