Not sure what day Snow King Resort has targeted for opening, but they often try to open the slopes by Thanksgiving. It looks like they might be on schedule if it stays cold or if it starts snowing. Anything in between and it will probably be a delayed opening.
It is only 10 days from opening day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Where has the off-season gone? The Mountain Resort almost certainly will open on schedule Nov. 27 as their snowmaking guns have created a fully connected strip of man-made snow from the top of Apres Vous to the bottom of Teewinot.
But it won’t really be ski season until the heavens open up. Hoses only get you so far!
