Today’s Teton County Multiple listing Service includes a new listing for a 5-bed, 4-bath, 2,763-square-foot home in East Jackson for $895,000.
This listing joins a somewhat limited and variable inventory of single-family homes with at least four bedrooms. For example:
- There are now 20 single-family homes in Town of Jackson with at least four bedrooms. The least expensive is a 4-bed, 2-bath, 1,968-square-foot home in East Jackson built in 1978 for $565,000; the most expensive is a 4-bed, 3-bath, 3,376-square-foot home in East Jackson for $1,999,000 also built in 1978. Why so much for a home not much bigger? It’s on three town lots (0.52 acres) in the Gill Addition, one of town’s highest value neighborhoods.
- There are 15 homes with at least four bedrooms in Melody Ranch. I won’t go into Melody too much here as I cover this very active neighborhood regularly and will continue to focus on this neighborhood.
- There are eight 4-bed, single-family homes available in 3 Creek Ranch listed from $2 million to $5.295 million. Prices in this private neighborhood have been in freefall like few others in the last year.
- There are nine 4-bed townhomes available in the town of Jackson with the least expensive located in the Clusters in West Jackson. This 4-bed, 2-bath, 1,344-square-foot unit is listed for $455,000 after 84 days on the market.
- Rafter J, one of the valley’s largest concentrations of single-family homes, has 11 active listings (eight of them single-family homes) but not one has more than three bedrooms.
