Weather: Very thin clouds that seem to be getting thinner, even though the radar indicates some moisture rotating our way from the north.

It’s a quiet day in Jackson with a surprising dearth of news. One interesting piece is the push to legislate an additional $20 million in aid from the state to local municipalities for infrastructure and operations, bringing the total to $175 million. Should be a no-brainer for a state that runs a surplus.
Also, here is a good video on “deep slab instability” and how to assess its risks. Yes, still thinking about avalanches.
Today’s Jackson Hole real estate news:
Some bombs on the Hotsheet today, including:
- PENDING: The 8,000-square-foot Teton Village home owned by Christy Walton listed for $12.5 million.
- NEW: 105-acre building site within Bar BC Ranch, listed at $19 million.
- NEW: at the other end of the scale, there is a new lowest-priced residential property with the listing of a 2-bed condo in South Park for $167,000. Can be bought as an investment, but the catch is the resident, who can be a renter, must work in Teton County 30 hours a week.
